Job summary

Linde Material Handling, part of the KION Group, seeks a Service Technician in Brisbane, Australia. You will service and repair forklift trucks, diagnose software and hardware issues, and use the Service App to manage jobs and reporting.

Pre-employment checks apply, and a competitive package with vehicle and laptop is offered. The role includes on-call duties, stock and tool maintenance, and collaboration with service allocators to ensure on-time completion of tasks.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background or experience with forklifts, heavy equipment or automotive.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities across software and hardware.
• Good customer service and clear communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
• Order spare parts through the Parts Portal.
• Use the Linde Service App to receive jobs and log information.
• Maintain service van stock and ensure tools are in good condition.
• Liaise with Service Allocators to confirm daily jobs and ensure timely completion.
• Assist in repairs of units in the workshop.
• Provide after-hours service as required.
