Job summary

Costa Group, a leading horticultural business in Australia, seeks an experienced Forklift Driver to load and unload produce, transport stock, and support packhouse operations. You will operate forklifts safely, maintain records, and assist with general farm tasks during off-peak periods.

Ideal candidates hold a current LF licence, have 2+ years in a similar role, and understand traffic management and safety requirements in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Current LF forklift licence or equivalent.
• Certificate II or III in a relevant field is desirable.
• At least two years’ experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of traffic management and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely within the packing shed and farm environment.
• Load and unload produce and materials for distribution.
• Transport stock efficiently between storage areas.
• Ensure produce is stored, secured and handled with care.
• Maintain accurate forklift operation records and documentation.
• Follow traffic management procedures and workplace safety requirements.
• Complete routine forklift checks and keep equipment and work areas clean.

We are seeking experienced forklift drivers to join our teamsin Mildura VIC 3500, Fisherman’s Reach NSW 2441, Atherton QLD 4883, Childers QLD4660 and Walkamin QLD 4872.

Your Role

As a Forklift Driver, you will load and unload produce,transport stock to and from the packhouse, and ensure all forklift operations arecompleted safely and efficiently. During harvest, you will support the movementof incoming and outgoing produce. In the off-season, you will assist with generalfarm operations.
