Job summary

Independent Liquor is expanding its warehouse team and seeking experienced Forklift and high reach Forklift Drivers for a fast-paced environment. The role includes training and supports to hit the ground running.

Key duties involve operating forklifts, RF scanning, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate warehouse documentation with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a current forklift license.
• Experience with pick/packing in a warehouse.
• Willingness to undergo a pre-employment Medical and Criminal History checks.
• Capable of manual handling up to 20kg.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a forklift and high reach forklift, lifting to 4–5 racks high in a large warehouse.
• Replenishing picking slots to keep bays full for pick/packers.
• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks of various shapes and sizes.
• RF Scanning.
• Preparing and checking documents in the warehouse.
• Safely operate pallet wrapping machine.
• Follow strict WHS policy and procedures in the warehouse.
• Manual handling duties up to 20kg.

Job description

We are currently growing our team and seeking enthusiastic experienced Forklift and high reach Forklift Drivers to join our organisation working within a fast-paced Warehouse environment. This is a hands-on role with full training and support provided so you can hit the ground running.

Key responsibilities

Safely operating a forklift and for operators of a high reach forklift, lift to 4-5 racks high in a large warehouse

Replenishing picking slots to keep bays full for pick/packers

Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload trucks of various shapes and sizes

RF Scanning

Preparing and checking documentations in the warehouse

Safely operate pallet wrapping machine

Follow strict WHS policy and procedures in the warehouse

Manual handling duties up to 20kg

About you

Must have a current forklift license and be physically fit

Prior experience with Linde electric and / or crown joystick high reach forklifts is also an advantage

Experienced forklift driver that has had experience with pick/packing

High attention to detail and awareness of surroundings

A positive attitude with attention to detail

Must be reliable and responsible at all times

Capacity to work autonomously as well as within a team

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Willingness to undergo a pre-employment Medical and Criminal History

Willingness to provide a clear Driving History Check
