Job summary

Excel Recruitment is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver/Stores Person for a busy dairy manufacturing facility in Carrum Downs. The role focuses on safe operation of Counterbalance and High Reach forklifts, stock movement, loading/unloading, and picking with attention to detail in a cold storage environment.

You will read and process pick slips and warehouse documentation, contribute to stock control, and maintain a clean, safe warehouse.

Qualifications

• Current High Risk Forklift Licence is required.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Experience in warehousing/logistics and cold storage environments.
• Ability to read and process pick slips and warehouse documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift to move stock throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Place and retrieve pallets from racking locations.
• Work in and out of cold storage rooms.
• Read and process pick slips, orders, and warehouse tickets.
• Assist with stock control and inventory movement.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.

Forklift Driver / Stores person - Afternoon Shift

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift driver/ stores person to join a busy dairy manufacturing facility located in Carrum Downs. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with warehousing and high reach forklift experience who are looking for a Monday to Friday role with an immediate start available.

Key Duties

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift to move stock throughout the warehouse
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Placing and retrieving pallets from racking locations
• Working in and out of cold storage rooms
• Manual handling and movement of products as required
• Reading and processing pick slips, orders, and warehouse tickets
• Assisting with stock control and inventory movement
• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment

What We're Looking For

• Current High Risk Forklift Licence and proven forklift experience
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or stores experience
• Comfortable working in cold storage environments
• Ability to read and process pick slips and warehouse documentation accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
• Full Australian working rights
• Own reliable transport and current driver's licence
• Available for an immediate start
