Job summary

Recruitaustralia is seeking an experienced STORE PERSON with a FORKLIFT LICENCE for a large Australian engineering and manufacturing company in Boronia. This is a permanent, full-time daytime role in the shipping store, not a picking/packing position.

You will move high value parts, operate RF equipment, build packing crates for overseas shipping, and handle large machinery up to 8–9 tonnes. A forklift and car/truck licence are required, with strong computer and communication skills.

We have positions available to start now for an experienced store person with a forklift licence and car or truck licence to work in a manufacturing shipping store.

A large Australian engineering and manufacturing company needs a skilled stores person to work in their shipping store doing a variety of functions.

This is NOT a picking packing role.

We require someone with skills and ability to use RF equipment, pick large and small mechanical items, build large and small crates ready for overseas shipping, and the ability to do paper work. You will also be operating various forklift equipment including moving large machinery and packing containers.

They need skilled store person with various skills and abilities. Someone with experience on the forklift to move large machinery of 8 to 9 tonne and plus build shipping crates. Plus excellent computer and communication skills.

Based in the Boronia area you will be working alongside skilled stores and shipping people in the international shipping department.

You will need the following:

• Experience in move high-value parts around workshop A MUST.
• Experience in a shipping warehouse
• Able to build packing crates
• Forklift experience in moving large products.

Excellent conditions are on offer for the successful applicant. This is a full-time Day shift position. Rate to start at $34 to $40 per hour plus super pending on skills and shift.
