Responsibilities

About the client:

Our client is an established manufacturer based in Bayswater North Vic. We are currently seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Loader to join their Despatch team.

This is a hands‑on role responsible for loading and unloading products, managing stock and incoming goods, preparing customer orders, and supporting the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the despatch and yard areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and other vehicles
• Load customer orders accurately according to delivery and pickup paperwork
• Receive and store incoming goods in designated areas
• Ensure products are handled and transported carefully to minimise damage
• Check delivery dockets and paperwork to ensure all goods are correctly dispatched
• Collect and submit signed paperwork to the office
• Assist with stocktakes and maintain appropriate stock levels
• Maintain clean, organised and safe loading, receiving and yard areas
• Complete daily forklift pre‑start and safety checks
• Follow all site traffic management, safety and housekeeping procedures
• Assist drivers with timely and complete deliveries and pickups
• Receive and manage recyclable materials as required
• Provide materials to the factory as required
• Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Work closely with the Despatch Manager, logistics team, factory staff, drivers and office staff
• Report any safety concerns, incidents, delays or product issues promptly

About the Role:
