Job summary

Lindsay Transport | Melbourne Depot is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers for the Tuesday to Saturday night shift in Melbourne. You will be responsible for safe handling of temperature‑sensitive freight, loading/unloading trucks, and accurate load management.

Applicants should hold a current forklift licence, have warehouse experience, and be reliable with good communication. Night shift offers 30% loading and potential overtime in a supportive team environment.

• Experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Refrigeration experience is preferred.
• Be reliable and punctual with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Safe always – demonstrate safe work practices and promote a safety culture.
• Handle temperature‑sensitive freight with care and timeliness.
• Load and unload vehicles; move freight to and from storage areas.
• Load trucks according to the load sheet with accuracy.
• Operate stabilisation equipment as required.

Lindsay Transport | Melbourne Depot:

Our Melbourne Depot is one of our busiest transport hubs. We’re looking for experienced Forklift Drivers to join the team to cover the Tuesday to Saturday nightshift operations.

What You’ll Do

• Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture.

• Temperature Sensitive Freight – working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.

• Freight Handling – Loading and unloading vehicles; moving freight to and from storage areas; Primarily loading dry, fresh, refrigerated, frozen freight onto trailers for distribution.

• Load Management & Accuracy – Load trucks in accordance with the load sheet

• Equipment Operation – Stabilisation equipment is used as required.

What You’ll Bring:

• Have a valid & current forklift licence and experience in this class

• Have warehouse and pick, packing and stocktaking experience

• Have experience loading and unloading trucks

• Have refrigeration experience (preferred)

• Be reliable and punctual with good communication skills

• Be able to adhere to transport documentation
