Job summary

NEPEAN Conveyors in Mackay, QLD is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator / Labourer to join our workshop-based team. You will safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes, receive and dispatch goods, and help maintain inventory for mining and materials handling equipment.

The role suits a motivated team player who can work safely in a busy workshop and warehouse. A current Driver's Licence and at least five years’ forklift experience are required, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience operating forklifts.
• Prior experience operating overhead cranes.
• Previous stores, warehouse, or workshop experience within mining, manufacturing, engineering, or materials handling industries.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

• Reliable work ethic with a willingness to support multiple areas of the business.
• Current Driver's Licence.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused ForkliftOperator / Labourer to join our workshop-based team in Slade Point, Mackay QLD.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for safely operating forklifts and overhead cranes, receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining inventory, and providing workshop support for the assembly, maintenance, and refurbishment of mining and materials handling equipment.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong forklift experience who enjoys working in a busy workshop and warehouse environment while contributing to the successful delivery of projects for the mining industry.
