Job summary

Excel Recruitment, on behalf of our client in Altona VIC, is seeking a reliable Forklift Driver to join the day shift. The role focuses on operating an Aisle Master (VNA) to navigate tight spaces and stack stock, along with general warehouse duties.

You must have factory or warehouse experience and a valid car and driver's licence. The position offers regular hours, a supportive team environment, and the potential for ongoing hours starting ASAP.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate an Aisle Master (Very Narrow Aisle) forklift to navigate tight spaces and stack/retrieve stock.
• Move pallets, goods and materials between delivery trucks, storage bays and outdoor yards.
• Perform general warehousing tasks: check shipments, inspect goods for damage, manage inventory, pick/pack and follow safety procedures.
• Maintain clean work areas.

The successful candidate must have:

Factory/warehouse experience

Car & Driver's License

THE ROLE:

Operating an Aisle Master (Very Narrow Aisle - VNA) forklift to navigate tight spaces (As small as 1.6 metres wide) to stack and retrieve stock (Books, beauty products, clothing and more)

Using an Aisle Master (VNA) forklift to move pallets, goods and materials between delivery trucks, storage bays and outdoor yards

General warehousing tasks (checking shipments against delivery notes, inspecting goods for damage, inventory management, pick packing and following safety procedures).

Maintaining clean work areas

DAY SHIFT Monday to Friday: 8:00AM - 4:00PM

Pay Rate: $34.96/Hour
