Job summary

Zoom Recruitment is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator for a 5 Tonne unit based in Truganina, VIC. Immediate starts available and ongoing day shifts with a 6:00am–2:00pm schedule, Monday to Friday.

You will operate a 5 Tonne Counterbalance forklift, load/unload deliveries, and manage pallets across a busy warehouse environment. Applicants must hold a current LF forklift licence, have transport/warehousing experience, and be able to commence ASAP.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LF Forklift Licence (essential)
• Experience operating a 5 Tonne Counterbalance Forklift
• Experience in transport, logistics or warehousing
• Experience loading and unloading trucks
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail and safety awareness
• Physically fit for general warehouse duties
• Reliable, punctual and available ASAP
• National Police Check issued within the last 6 months, or willingness to apply

Responsibilities

• Operate a 5 Tonne Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks and trailers
• Move, stack and store heavy/oversized freight in the warehouse
• Transport pallets and goods throughout the warehouse
• Assist with general warehouse duties including pick packing
• Check for damage and ensure safe handling
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating a 5 Tonne Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
• Moving, stacking and storing heavy and oversized freight
• Transporting pallets and goods throughout the warehouse
• Loading and unloading deliveries in a busy transport environment
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required including pick packing
• Checking for damage and ensuring accurate handling
• Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work area
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

• Current and valid LF Forklift Licence with proven experience operating a 5 TONNE Counterbalance Forklift – ESSENTIAL
• Previous experience in transport, logistics or warehousing
• Experience loading and unloading trucks
• Ability to safely handle heavy and bulky freight
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Physically fit and capable of general warehouse duties
• Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work
• National Police Check issued within the last 6 months, or willingness to apply
• Available to commence ASAP
