Job summary

Knauf Australia is seeking a Distribution Operator - Forklift Driver to manage daily distribution tasks at the Camellia Distribution Centre. The role reports to the Distribution Supervisor and requires operating an 8t forklift, processing goods inwards and outwards, and maintaining accurate records in SAP.

Applicants should be located in or near Camellia, hold a valid forklift license, and be able to work full-time Mon-Fri 6am-2.30pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution and logistics is highly desirable.
• Experience using SAP is highly desirable.
• Experience with RF scanners is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload vehicles with an 8t forklift during goods inwards/outwards.
• Perform some manual handling to assemble loads as required.
• Ensure Chain of Responsibility requirements are met.
• Participate in stock takes and inventory control.
• Maintain compliance with the management system and procedures.
• Check and process orders with accuracy and diligence.
• Ensure SAP system data is accurate and up to date.
• Maintain and report faults or damage to equipment.

About The Role

As a Distribution Operator - Forklift Driver- you will report to the Distribution Supervisor where you will be responsible for distribution activities through the daily operations of the Camellia Distribution Centre.

Some Tasks As Part Of This Role Include

• Loding/Unloading vehicles with an 8t, quad tyne forklift as part of goods inwards/outwards process


• Some manual handling to assemble loads as required


• Ensuring Chain of Responsibility requirements are met


• Participate in stock take functions and inventory control


• Maintain compliance to the Management System and relevant procedures


• Check and process orders with diligence and accuracy


• Ensure validity and compliance within our SAP system


• Maintain operational equipment and report any faults or damage to management
