Job summary

Frankston City Council is seeking a Natural Reserves Maintenance Officer to deliver foreshore and horticultural maintenance programs within coastal reserves and public open space. This full-time role is 38 hours per week under a 9-day fortnight with one rostered day off every fortnight.

Your background should include Certificate III or equivalent in Natural Resource Management or Horticulture, plus experience maintaining parks and safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or equivalent experience in Natural Resource Management, Horticulture or related discipline.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing Parks and Conservation Areas and garden beds to a visually pleasing aesthetic.
• A strong understanding of safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver foreshore and horticultural maintenance programs in coastal areas.
• Ensure service standards are met so the foreshore remains accessible, safe and clean for all to enjoy.
• Implement biodiversity-enhancing maintenance using best practices and equipment.
