Job summary

Frankston City Council is seeking a Natural Reserves Ranger to manage flora and fauna maintenance in bushland and coastal areas as part of the Operations Department. The role demands delivering biodiversity programs, following best practice flora and fauna management techniques, and coordinating with maintenance teams.

It is a full-time position on a 38-hour week with a 9-day fortnight and an RDO. Candidates should have a Certificate III in Natural Resource Management or equivalent, experience

Qualifications

• Certificate III or equivalent experience in Natural Resource Management or related discipline.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing Parks and Conservation Areas.
• Strong understanding of safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flora and fauna maintenance programs within bushland and coastal areas.
• Implement maintenance activities to enhance biodiversity and horticultural presentation in natural reserves and public spaces.
