Job summary

Structerre Consulting seeks a Forensic Structural Engineer to deliver forensic and structural engineering services across Western Australia. You will inspect, report, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to growth within the WA market.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural) with strong NCC and Australian Standards knowledge, plus 5+ years in residential construction/engineering. WA site inspections form part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil/Structural engineering.
• 5+ years' experience in residential construction/engineering.
• Strong experience in inspections, reporting and engineering assessments.
• Solid understanding of NCC and Australian Standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural inspections and investigations across WA projects and prepare accurate reports.
• Provide technical/forensic engineering advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Review and quality-check engineering work for compliance with Standards and Structerre guidelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development.
• Build client relationships and assist with WA market growth.
• Support process improvements and new reporting methodologies.
