Victoria Police in Melbourne, through the Forensic Services division, seeks a Fixed Term Forensic Officer Level 2 to support the Audio-Visual Unit. You will handle extraction, recovery, analysis and authentication of audio-visual evidence, repair damaged media, and attend crime scenes to assist evidence retrieval.
You will perform examinations under supervision, process case lodgements, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining records and contributing to quality

This position will support casework functions relating to the examination to the Audio-Visual Unit with a focus on illicit tobacco offences and, where applicable, to other units within the Division which includes both administrative and casework support. The position will also be required to attend crime scenes to assist with the retrieval of evidence.
