Job summary

ACT Health's Canberra Health Services seeks a Registered Nurse Level 2 to join the Clinical Forensic Medical Service as a Forensic Nurse Examiner. You will deliver specialized care across forensic and medical sexual assault services, partnering with ACT Policing and multidisciplinary teams in a tertiary hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current Australian registration.
• Experience in forensic nursing or emergency settings preferred.
• Ability to advocate for patients and work in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide forensic and medical nursing care to patients in CFMS.
• Support individuals in police custody in partnership with ACT Policing.
• Contribute to cognitive screening and Fitness to Drive assessments.
