Job summary

McGrathNicol Brisbane is seeking a Senior Forensic/Valuation professional to join our Forensic team in Brisbane CBD. You will deliver high-quality analyses, build client relationships and contribute to a diverse range of engagements, with clear career growth opportunities.

The role emphasizes dispute advisory, economic loss quantification, and complex financial valuations, supported by robust financial models and expert reports. A strong foundation in finance and analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (commerce/finance/business/economics/law).
• Preferably working towards or holding CA or CFA; interest in obtaining one.
• Proficiency in Excel/Word/PowerPoint with experience building financial models including DCF; familiarity with S&P Capital IQ is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong business and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver forensic and advisory assignments, with emphasis on dispute advisory and business valuation services.
• Prepare independent expert reports and supporting financial models for dispute resolution.
• Quantify economic loss, damages and remedies in commercial disputes.
• Value businesses, shares and other assets including IP; review work of other experts.
• Conduct company, industry and financial analysis; maintain risk management compliance.
• Participate in business development, including relationship building and opportunity research.
