Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related discipline.
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • 3–6 years' accounting, forensic accounting, or investigative experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
  • Experience in preparing professional reports for legal, commercial or regulatory purposes.
  • A high level of integrity, attention to detail and professional judgement.
  • The ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct forensic investigations and financial analyses.
  • Identify and trace assets and funds through complex financial structures.
  • Prepare expert reports and evidentiary schedules.
  • Assist with fraud investigations and misconduct examinations.
  • Undertake business and share valuations.
  • Quantify economic loss and damages claims.
  • Support litigation matters through detailed financial analysis.
  • Participate in insolvency investigations where forensic accounting expertise is required.
  • Communicate with clients, legal advisers, creditors and courts where appropriate.
