Job summary

The Andersen Partnership in Brisbane is seeking an experienced professional to join our Forensic Accounting, Disputes & Valuations team. You will work on commercial disputes, valuations and financial analysis, collaborating with nationally and internationally recognised experts.

You will plan and deliver forensic accounting engagements, prepare independent reports and support financial models, while communicating findings clearly to clients and legal advisers.

Qualifications

• Relevant degrees in commerce, finance, economics or related discipline.
• Dispute advisory and/or valuation experience will be highly regarded.
• CA, CFA or similar qualification or willingness to work towards one.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modelling, ideally including DCF analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commercial acumen.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly to clients and legal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver forensic accounting and advisory engagements.
• Prepare independent expert reports and supporting financial models.
• Quantify economic loss, damages and other remedies in disputes.
• Perform valuations of businesses, shares, IP and other assets.
• Review and critique work of other experts.
• Undertake detailed company, industry and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with clients, legal advisers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development and relationship management.
