The company is an award-winning architecture and construction company exploring a different way of designing and building. They bring architecture, construction and manufacturing together under one roof, designing highly resolved architectural projects and constructing significant portions of them within our Brisbane manufacturing facility before installation and completion on site. Their work sits at the intersection of architecture, construction and advanced off-site manufacturing. They believe the future of construction lies in much closer integration between these disciplines - using the intelligence and precision of manufacturing without losing the individuality, materiality and architectural ambition of a bespoke building. The company is a hands-on environment with ambitious projects and a team interested in continually improving how buildings are designed and made.
They are looking for a qualified Foreman to deliver architect-designed homes within a controlled factory environment. The Foreman will lead and coordinate construction activities across both the factory and project sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. The role oversees trades and labour, implements works in line with IFC documentation and programme, and maintains alignment between design, factory production, and on-site delivery. The Foreman will manage workflow, monitor workmanship, and resolve day-to-day construction and coordination issues, with a particular focus on the interface between factory-built modules and site works. The role requires strong leadership, practical construction knowledge, and the ability to maintain consistent quality, safety, and programme control from factory through to installation and completion. These are not conventional volume building projects; they are architecturally ambitious, highly detailed and technically demanding. They require someone who can understand both the design intent and the commercial and practical realities of construction.
An experienced, highly organised and proactive construction professional who can independently manage the detail, lead teams and maintain control of project delivery from factory to handover. You will be expected to anticipate what is needed, stay ahead of the programme, make sound decisions and take responsibility for outcomes. The right person will bring strong leadership, initiative and accountability, consistently driving productivity, quality and timely delivery while reducing the need for day-to-day management intervention.
