Georgiou Group, part of STRABAG SE, is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead our plant maintenance team at Hazelmere. You will oversee heavy mobile plant maintenance, coordinate workshop activities, and mentor trades personnel to ensure high standards and minimal downtime.

You will manage servicing, repairs, and servicing schedules, while fostering a safety-focused culture and delivering on-time maintenance across WA projects.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Plant Maintenance, Heavy Diesel, or Auto Electrical.
• Proven experience leading maintenance teams within civil, mining, construction, or heavy plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of heavy mobile plant maintenance and repair practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Current Driver's Licence (HR licence desirable).
• S26 Supervisory Desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise a team of Plant Mechanics, LV Mechanics, Boilermakers, Auto Electricians, Trade Assistants, and Apprentices.
• Coordinate daily workshop activities and allocate work to ensure maintenance schedules are met.
• Oversee servicing, repairs, and breakdown maintenance of heavy mobile plant and equipment.
• Monitor plant availability and work closely with operations to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to workshop personnel.
• Conduct plant inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
• Manage job priorities, resources, and workshop productivity.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding parts, repairs, and equipment requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and compliance documentation.
• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with workforce planning, training, and performance development.

About the role:

Based out of our Hazelmere workshop you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and servicing of our heavy mobile plant fleet. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating workshop activities, supporting trades personnel, and ensuring plant availability across our operations. Directly reporting to the Maintenance Manager
