AECOM is offering a 12-week paid Project Management/Engineering Intern program across Australia and New Zealand. You will support day-to-day delivery activities, assist with schedules, budgets, and governance, and gain exposure to iconic infrastructure projects.
You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Civil or Construction, and have working rights in Australia/New Zealand.

**Job Description**
We are a collaborative, high-performing Project and Program Management team delivering complex infrastructure across transport, water, and renewable energy.
As a Project Management Intern, you will be supporting day-to-day delivery activities and helping with coordination tasks while learning from experienced project and program managers.
**How you'll make a difference:**
+ Support the delivery of major infrastructure programs by helping with schedule, budget, and quality tracking under guidance (e.g., maintaining registers, logs, and dashboards).
+ Help prepare and manage project documentation, reports, and stakeholder communications, including meeting minutes, action trackers, and presentation materials.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assist in monitoring progress and identifying risks or issues, supporting in updates to risk registers and mitigation actions.
+ Contribute across all project stages-from initial planning through delivery and into operation-by helping with PMO processes, governance activities, and status reporting under supervision.

**Qualifications**
+ Summer Intern attributes: Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
+ Bachelor's Degree: You must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Civil or Construction Services.
+ Commencement: Able to work full time hours from 16 November 2026 - 19 February 2027.
+ Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia and New Zealand before applying.
