Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to integrate literacy and numeracy teaching.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies guided by how students learn and evaluating impact on growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation within the school.
• Undertake other classroom duties and organisational tasks as required by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
