UPA is hiring a Part-time Food Services Assistant to support the Sydney region. You will assist with resident meals, dietary planning, and helping maintain food safety standards in a caring, not-for-profit setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare evening meals as residents’ requests.
• Plan for residents' dietary needs and preferences.
• Maintain HACCP program and strive for continuous improvement.
• Keep kitchen clean and hazard-free; tidy up spills.
• Report defects or maintenance requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with food safety, handling and equipment standards.
• Follow hygiene guidelines per HACCP.
• Complete Food Safety Training and Senior First Aid Certification when required.
• Collaborate with team in line with UPA values.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Part‑time Food Services Assistant - TRA to join our team at Sydney region.

Duties will include (but not limited to): -

• Preparation evening meals as resident’s requests
• Planning for resident’s special requests and dietary needs, as well as likes and dislikes
• Participating and maintaining the HACCP program continually striving for improvement
• Maintain clean and tidy kitchen, include clean‑up of spills and hazard prevention
• Report and defects or maintains requirements
• Keep up to date with latest food safety, handling and equipment standards
• Follow required hygiene guidelines as per HACCP
• Will to complete Food Safety Training as per food safety standards, will to complete Senior First Aide Certificate
• Work as team member as per UPA values and have good communication skills
