Job summary

Ringwood Private Hospital is seeking a casual Food Services Assistant to join our supportive team. You will deliver, serve and collect patient meals while meeting dietary requirements.

The role supports daily food preparation, basic meal assembly and kitchen cleanliness in a busy hospital environment. Qualifications

• Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain).
• Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services.
• Able to work without supervision and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work early/late shifts and weekends.

• Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly.

As a Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver, serve, and collect patient meal trays while ensuring all dietary requirements and food preferences are met.
• Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
• Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards

Selection Criteria:

• Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
• Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
• Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work
