Job summary

Dhelkaya Health is seeking a Food Services Assistant to join our team across hospital and aged care facilities. This role involves assisting with meal prep, plating, and delivery while maintaining food safety and high standards of service.

You will support stock control, equipment tracking, and adhere to policies and OHS requirements in a friendly, team-oriented environment. Two part-time, ongoing positions are available with varying hourly schedules.

Employment Type: 2 x ongoing part-time positions

1 x 56 hours per fortnight position

Role description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Food Services Assistant to join our team, supporting the preparation of food within the hospital and aged care facilities. Providing a practical oversight of all aspects of Food Services within the hospital and aged care facilities according to food safety laws.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation, plating, and delivery of meals and beverages
• Ensuring meals meet presentation, dietary, and service standards
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and infection control
• Cleaning and maintaining food service areas and equipment
• Monitoring and reporting equipment issues and safety concerns

• Supporting stock control and equipment tracking
• Contributing to a positive team environment and continuous improvement activities
