Job summary

BaptistCare is seeking Front of House staff to deliver warm dining experiences in our aged care settings. This casual role offers AM or PM shifts on weekdays, with a café-style service for residents and light food-prep support.

You bring hospitality experience, a Food Handling certificate, and a commitment to safety and respectful, patient-centered service. Not-for-profit benefits and trainee opportunities accompany your meaningful work.

Qualifications

  • Food Handling & Hygiene Certificate (required).
  • Availability for AM or PM shifts on weekdays.
  • NDIS Screening Clearance.
  • Friendly attitude and strong communication skills.
  • Reliable, team-focused approach.
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proof of working rights in Australia.
  • Willingness to complete a medical assessment.

THE ROLE

You’ll help deliver an enjoyable dining experience while working closely with residents and the catering team in a welcoming aged care environment.

  • Restaurant or café front of house
  • Hotel food & beverage
  • Events and functions
  • Customer service or retail hospitality
What you’ll need:
  • Food Handling & Hygiene Certificate (required)
  • Availability for AM or PM shifts across a Weekdays (mandatory)
  • NDIS Screening Clearance (mandatory)
  • Friendly attitude and strong communication skills
  • Reliable, team-focused approach
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proof of working rights in Australia
  • Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role
