A major healthcare provider is looking for dedicated Food Services Assistants. This permanent part-time role involves 20 hours of work per week, mainly from 4 PM to 8 PM, with responsibilities including meal preparation and patient support. HealthShare NSW are seeking compassionate and dedicated Food Services Assistants. In this role, you will need to be available to work 20 hours per week from 16:00 – 20:00 (4pm – 8pm) on a 7 day rotating roster with no fixed days off (days off will change every month). As this role is Permanent, only permanent residents and Australian citizens are eligible to apply.
In this role you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in our hospital. Your responsibilities will include:
order taking
meal assembly
meal preparation and distribution of patient meals
recording intake
dishwashing and other associated cleaning duties
waste management

This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and Tuberculosis (TB) screening. Refer to NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 12) for a complete list of required vaccines.
