St John of God Geelong Hospital is seeking a casual Food Service Assistant to support the Food Services Department in delivering high‑quality meals to patients and visitors. You will assist with meal preparation and plating, ensure timely service, and maintain a clean, safe food environment in line with safety standards.
The role involves a mix of day and afternoon shifts, provides casual loading, and opportunities to be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to compassionate care.

You will play a key role in supporting the Food Services Department to deliver high-quality meals and exceptional service to patients, caregivers, and visitors.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with meal preparation and plating, providing efficient meal service, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the department. You will contribute to achieving quality, safety, and productivity standards while helping to create a safe food environment.
The role requires adherence to safe food handling practices across all stages of food service operations, including receiving, storage, preparation, and distribution, ensuring compliance with food safety requirements at all times.
