As a trusted supplier to major supermarkets and national meal solution providers, at German Butchery we are passionate about producing Continental Smallgoods the traditional way and to the highest quality standard.

Due to consistent growth, we are commissioning an additional packing line and are looking for a hands-on shift line leader who will guide a small team of 4-7 staff. Your role is to ensure compliance with the production schedule by actively participating during the packing process, you will safely set up and operate the packing line, monitor & support your team’s efficiency and facilitate quality checks.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, bringing strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach to improving site quality and food safety performance.

  • The ability to motivate to consistently meet expectations
  • A hands-on approach with proven problem-solving skills
  • A background in food manufacturing with at least 1 year experience in a similar position
  • High attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills, fluent in English both verbal and written
  • Dependability/ High workload capacity
  • Physically fit – medium to heavy lifting required
  • Comfortable working in cold environments (4C-10C)
  • Full working rights in Australia
