The Star Sydney, home to Sovereign Dining, is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead a busy sports bar environment. This hands-on leadership role focuses on delivering exceptional service, maintaining product knowledge, and upholding professional standards across all shifts.

You will oversee F&B Attendants, drive guest satisfaction, and ensure the outlets are prepared to meet business needs while promoting efficient operations and compliance with RSA guidelines.

Formación

• Supervisory or team lead experience in bar/restaurant settings.
• Ability to manage large teams and maintain standards in a high-volume service.
• Solid understanding of RSA compliance and licensing requirements.

The Food & Beverage Supervisorposition is a hands on, leadership role which will assist in the effective running of our busy Sports Bar outlet. The role will enable you to improve guest satisfaction by maintaining efficiency of service, general product and technical knowledge, and exceptional standard of delivery and professionalism. You will oversee and assist F&B Attendants to deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring the outlets are prepared and organised to meet business requirements.

A few of your responsibilities

• Supervise team members and assist the leadership team with any training and development needed for team members
• Monitor the quality of food and beverage service to ensure high standards are always maintained
• Ensure a high level of guest experience is always provided in the venues and is professional, hospitable, timely, effective, and efficient
• Set specific daily performance objectives for all team members and supervise the service flow
• Make recommendations to the Venue Manager that will assist in maximising revenue and minimise costs to meet company and division budgets

• Demonstrated supervisory experience in a similar role and bar environment, managing large teams with confidence and effectiveness
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment while juggling multiple tasks seamlessly
• Strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards
• Have 24/7 availability and adaptability to various scheduling needs
• Expertise in building rapport with a diverse range of guests, ensuring exceptional experiences for everyone

About you
