Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor for Rydges Australia in Sydney. You will oversee daily operations of restaurant, bar, room service and events, coaching staff and ensuring guests enjoy consistently excellent service.

Ideal candidates will have prior F&B supervisory experience in hotels or hospitality, strong communication, team leadership and attention to detail. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for career growth within EVT's hotel and entertainment network.

Key Responsibilities

The F&B Supervisor leads the day-to-day operation of the hotel's food and beverage outlets including restaurant, bar, room service and/or events — ensuring guests receive consistently excellent service while the team operates efficiently, safely and profitably. This is a hands-on leadership role: supervising rostered shifts, coaching casual and permanent staff, and stepping in on the floor during service.

• Previous experience in a F&B supervisor role or similar working in hotels, bars or restaurants.
• Experience managing and training teams, driver a strong team culture and driving a great guest experience.
• Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
• Warm, friendly and approachable manor.
• Great communication skills, flexibility and approachable.
• Be able to anticipate the guests need and be adaptable.
• Promote the venue and brand, maintain strong product knowledge, assist with training, supervision, and role allocation as required.
