Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead a dynamic hospitality team across shifts and venues. You will mentor staff, deliver exceptional guest service, and contribute to achieving service standards and guest loyalty.

You’ll oversee training, maintain cash handling accuracy, and collaborate with the Venue Manager to hit financial and operational targets while upholding safety and cleanliness across the dining floor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a large team on shift and assist with training, development and performance management
• Set daily performance objectives for the team and supervise the service flow and performance standards
• Ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed
• Assist the Venue Manager to support achievement of financial and operational targets
• Ensure an open line of communication at all times through daily shift briefings, and ensure a smooth transition and handover between shifts
• Monitor the quality of food & beverages to service to ensure high standards are maintained
• Ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace and coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and materials
