Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant for its casual dining venues. You will deliver exceptional guest service, take orders accurately, and help ensure a memorable first and last impression for every guest.

Learn the menu, assist with service flow, and contribute to a welcoming team environment. Flexible availability and a current NSW RSA are required to join our dynamic team at The Star.

• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Current NSW RSA certificate is mandatory.

As a Food & Beverage Attendant in one of casual dining restaurants, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring that the first and last impression is memorable.

Harvest Buffet – A feast for all senses. More than 100 different items on offer at our famous in house buffet!

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will build memorable connections with our guests by providing a worldclass experience to our local, interstate and international guests.

A few of your responsibilities:

• Take orders accurately and efficiently, and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the venue's menu and current promotions including ingredients and preparation methods
• Anticipate guests needs to understand their preferences to provide personalised service and recommendations
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies and dietary needs to the kitchen
• Collaborate with your team to provide efficient and seamless service
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including setting up and breaking down of the dining area

What we are looking for:

• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant with sound knowledge around food and beverage
• Passion for delivering outstanding service and a drive to provide a memorable experience
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Flexible availability to meet venue operating hours
• Current NSW RSAcard (or interim certificate)
