You’ll be working in Platform 270, our informal restaurant inspired by Melbourne’s iconic laneways. With modern Australian flavors, leather booths, and an open kitchen, it’s a vibrant space loved by all.

About the role

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will oversee F&B operations, engage with guests, and support your team with daily activities. Reporting to the Restaurant and Bar Manager, you will work as part of a small team on a rotating roster. This role covers the Restaurant, In-Room Dining, and hotel-hosted events. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting daily F&B operations by being actively involved in the department
  • Leading the team with energy and flair to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Inspiring and developing the team to be friendly, professional, and operationally knowledgeable
  • Leading both à-la-carte (lunch and dinner) and buffet (breakfast and events) services
  • Assisting in planning and executing hotel events, including setup, pack-down, and catering, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
  • Understanding menu content, updates, and promotions, and keeping the team informed
  • Completing purchase orders for bar and restaurant supplies

  • Experience in a supervisory F&B role or extensive experience in F&B service, preferably within a hotel environment
  • Ability to resolve problems and conflicts efficiently and work under pressure
  • Well-presented, organized, and calm demeanor
