Job summary

EVT Group is seeking a hospitality professional for guest-facing roles across our hotel and entertainment network in Australia. You will welcome guests, take accurate orders, serve meals and drinks, and ensure a high standard of service.

Training is provided for wine and cocktails, with emphasis on safety and guest satisfaction. The role requires the ability to stand long hours, lift items, and work across evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Sound knowledge of food, wine and cocktails (training provided).
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and seat guests, provide menus and assistance as needed.
• Accurately take food and beverage orders, accommodate dietary requirements.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly and professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Process payments efficiently and handle guest requests with care.
• Promote menu specials and upsell items to enhance guest experience.
• Adhere to safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• Work flexibly across shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
