Job Responsibilities

In your new role as Food & Beverage Attendant at Hilton Sydney, you will be responsible for creating a memorable guest experience by ensuring the outlet is run per the operating brand standards while meeting or exceeding the expectations of our guests by delivering exceptional and memorable service.

Key responsibilities include: creating exceptional guest experiences, ensuring all guests receive a friendly welcome, prompt attention, and quick service, assisting guests as they are seated, setting up and maintaining service areas, ensuring orders are promptly collected from the kitchen, assisting with barista or bartender tasks, undertaking general waiting duties, mixing sophisticated drinks, taking reservations, and demonstrating exemplary menu and product knowledge.

What are we looking for?
  • Must possess current and valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
  • Previous work experience in Hospitality or Customer Service is desirable.
  • Previous food hygiene experience is desirable.
  • Completed tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management are desirable.
  • Electronic Ordering Systems experience is desirable.
  • Cash handling Experience is desirable.
  • A high level of interpersonal skills in both oral and written communication.
  • Time management and ability to follow directions.
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Able to work on a rotating roster, both day and night shifts involving late starts and early finishes.
  • Must have valid Australian working rights (minimum 6 months).
