Office of the Victorian Information Commissioner (OVIC) seeks a FOI Reviews Lead Officer to manage the non-complex FOI reviews team under the direction of the Senior Manager, FOI Reviews. You will oversee the quality, timeliness, and consistency of the team’s output, and escalate complex matters as appropriate to senior managers.

The role sits within the FOI Reviews function, contributing to OVIC’s statutory responsibility to conduct timely, fair, and impartial reviews of FOI decisions.

Qualifications

• Leads the non-complex FOI reviews team with independent judgement.
• Provides supervision, guidance and quality assurance to FOI Reviews Support Officers.

Responsabilités

• Lead the non-complex FOI reviews team and determine how reviews and team issues are managed.
• Ensure reviews are processed efficiently, consistently and within statutory timeframes and OVIC standards.
• Provide supervision, guidance and quality assurance to FOI Reviews Support Officers; liaise with the Manager, FOI Reviews and Senior Manager, FOI Reviews.
