The role emphasizes active fault handling, incident response, and post‑mortems, with a focus on building scalable escalation protocols and tools. Australian security clearance eligibility is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
• 1+ years of experience with Building and/or Electrical Platform Management Systems.
• 3+ years of data center engineering or operations experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Access).
• Ability to maintain SLAs through proactive issue detection, documentation, and issue-tracking.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, coordinate, and drive excellence across 24/7 data centre shifts.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical signals to maintain optimal performance.
• Act as the trusted contact for internal engineers and external partners during operations and incidents.
• Coordinate recovery efforts for Large Scale and Critical Site Events; conduct post‑mortems.
• Develop escalation protocols and tools; maintain thorough handovers.
• Work in a 24/7 shift environment.
