Placements24 is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor for a key FMCG facility in Queenstown. You will lead a team, oversee daily activities, and ensure efficient handling, storage and dispatch of goods while maintaining high inventory accuracy.

The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and continuous process improvements in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and WMS experience are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in logistics is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years in warehouse operations, preferably FMCG.
• Proven experience supervising a warehouse team.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems and inventory control.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities: receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping.
• Optimize use of space and resources to meet demand.
• Lead, train and motivate staff to hit targets while maintaining safety.
• Enforce warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory via cycle counts and stock checks.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and ensure proper maintenance.
