Spinifex Recruiting is assisting a leading FMCG manufacturer in NSW to fill a Maintenance Manager position. You will oversee all maintenance across the site, lead a team of internal staff and external contractors, and drive preventive and breakdown maintenance with a safety-first approach.

The plant runs 24/5 with a 10 day rotation across three shifts. It is primarily a day shift role, with occasional call outs.

Formación

• Trade qualification or engineering degree in mechanical or electrical.
• Significant experience managing a maintenance crew in continuous manufacturing.
• Experience with extrusion machinery (Wenger preferred).
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Aptitude to maintain complex process equipment with automation.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate maintenance programs and preventive and annual plans across a multi-shift facility.
• Assess, engage and negotiate contractor rates.
• Respond to maintenance requests and equipment failures.
• Minimise unplanned line stoppages.
• Support line operators with machine set up and adjustments.
• Conduct testing and tagging of electrical equipment per Australian Standards.
