Job summary

Sanitarium Health & Food Company on the NSW Central Coast is seeking a Machine Operator to help run our manufacturing lines safely and efficiently. You may operate production equipment, monitor processes, perform quality checks and collaborate to meet daily production targets.

Roles cover day, afternoon and night shifts with overtime as needed. Successful applicants will bring reliability, adherence to safety and quality procedures, plus a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Dependable and able to work across multiple shift patterns.
• Safety-focused and able to follow procedures.
• Team player with good communication.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
• Able to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling up to 25 kg.
• Forklift licence is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment per SOPs.
• Support safe, efficient production in the area.
• Complete product checks and production records accurately.
• Follow food safety, quality and hygiene requirements.
• Identify and raise safety or quality concerns.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic work area.
• Collaborate with teammates and other departments.
• Suggest ideas to improve safety, quality and efficiency.
