Job summary

Edge Hill Tavern in Tropical North Queensland is seeking an Assistant Manager to run the floor during busy shifts, lead a team of hospitality legends, and keep our pub performing at peak during weekends, game days and live events.

This is a hands-on role requiring physical tasks such as moving stock and kegs. You will support the Publican, maintain elite service standards and help grow the local community vibe. A current RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hospitality leadership experience preferred.
• Experience supervising in a fast-moving venue.

Responsibilities

• Know the locals and lead by example on busy shifts.
• Support the Publican to run the pub safely with a great vibe.
• Lead a team of hospo staff and maintain elite standards.
• Handle hiccups before they become problems.
• Bring energy, service, and smiles on every shift.
