Job summary

HQ Group is seeking Floor & Bar Supervisors for HER, Music Room, and BKK in Melbourne. You’ll lead from the floor and bar, direct staff, and uphold exceptional guest experiences across high-volume service with a focus on atmosphere, knowledge of drinks, and evolving menus.

You’ll coach teammates, stay organized under pressure, and contribute to a positive, professional team culture while delivering attentive service and engaging experiences for guests.

From the dining boardwalk of Arbory Bar & Eatery on the Birrarung, to our seasonal pop-up AFLOAT and the multi-level HER building, HQ Group is always looking for new ways to bring people together though hospitality.

We're currently looking for Floor & Bar Supervisors to join the team at HER, with opportunities open at MUSIC ROOM and BKK.

Music Room

Located on Level 1 of HER, Music Room is a late-night space where music, cocktails and hospitality come together. With a strong focus on atmosphere, quality drinks and relaxed, knowledgeable service, it's a space that comes alive as the night progresses.

BKK

BKK brings bold Thai flavours, cocktails and high-energy hospitality to HER. With a vibrant atmosphere and a high-volume service environment, BKK is all about great food, great drinks, and a team that knows how to deliver an exceptional guest experience at pace.

About the role

We're looking for hospitality-obsessed Supervisors who thrive in a busy service and enjoy bringing out the best in their team.

You'll be hands-on across the floor and bar, supporting service, directing staff, and helping create an experience that feels effortless for our guests. You'll work with a team delivering knowledgeable and relaxed service alongside an evolving cocktail offering, curated European and Australian wines, and seasonal menus.

• Previous supervisory or senior hospitality experience
• Confident leading a team in a busy service environment
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

• Flexible availability, including late nights, weekends and public holidays
