Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a Flight Training Device Lead to manage AIR5428 FTD/LE maintenance and operations at RAAF East Sale, VIC, ensuring compliance with MMP-S, ISMP-S and LM value streams. You will lead maintenance teams, coordinate training, and oversee subcontracted activities in a safety‑driven, regulated environment.

Applicants must be Australian citizens eligible for Defence security clearances.

Qualifications

Extensive simulator and electronics-based maintenance experience.
Proven ability to deliver structured operational plans.
Ability to manage stakeholders across sites in fast-paced settings.
Strong leadership and team development capabilities.

Responsibilities

Execute Maintenance Manager delegation under the LMA Maintenance Support Policy.
Ensure maintenance activities and approved modifications comply with technical documentation/directives.
Manage MCAM requirements, training, assessments and qualification records.
Coordinate recruitment, training, performance management, work allocation and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Maintain a safe, organised and compliant workplace in line with WHS policy.
Apply asset management principles to maintain FTD/LE configuration.
Oversee subcontracted maintenance activities to ensure compliance with procedures and qualified personnel requirements.
