Job summary

Jet Aviation Bullsbrook in Australia is seeking a Flight Line Technician to support the maintenance and operational readiness of PC21 aircraft at our Bullsbrook facility. This hands-on role offers exposure to cutting-edge aviation technology and a path to advance within a dynamic team.

The role requires an AME qualification with at least two years’ aircraft experience, formal line maintenance training, and eligibility for security clearance.

Qualifications

  • AME qualification with at least two years of aircraft experience including formal training in line maintenance.
  • Ability to receive OEM-endorsed training.
  • Eligibility for security clearance at RAAF Base.
  • Experience with PC9, PT6, or glass cockpit aircraft (desirable).
  • Knowledge of CASA regulations, OH&S, and environmental requirements.
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus, and a commitment to safety.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules and in different weather conditions.
  • Legal right to work in Australia and ability to obtain relevant security clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Flight Line Planning activities as required.
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all ADs, SBs etc. prior to expiry of compliance and relevant to the aircraft.
  • Ensure all entries and certifications for work undertaken is completed and certified.
  • Carry out line maintenance functions.
  • Actively support and participate in the Jet Aviation Core Values and Safety, Security and Environment policies and procedures as detailed in the Jet Aviation Governance and Polices Manual.
  • Ensure FOD control procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensure OH&S requirements are adhered to.
  • Ensure GSE is serviceable and report any defects or deficiencies.
  • Ensure data used is current and applicable.
  • Ensure Tool control requirements are adhered to.
  • Ensure at all times documentation is correctly raised and completed.
  • Assist with defect analysis and investigations.
  • Carry out aircraft washing and associated corrosion control inspection.
  • Carry out aircraft towing and repositioning. Carry out aircraft refueling.
  • Carry out aircraft marshalling in accordance with appropriate order.
  • Other duties as may be directed by your supervisor from time-to-time.
