Job summary

Spicers is seeking a Flexo / Offset Print Operator at our Dingley site in Melbourne to operate print machinery in a food packaging production environment. The role is dayshift, 6:00am to 2:30pm, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The hourly rate is $35.82, with conditions in accordance with the site Enterprise Agreement. Reporting to the Team Leader, duties include quality production, packing, setting up machines, and resolving issues.

Qualifications

• Prior print machine operation experience is essential.
• Experience in the print industry is desirable.
• Knowledge of machine maintenance and repair.

About this Position

We currently have a vacancy for a Flexo / Offset Print Operator at our Dingley site, which specialises in Food Packaging.

The role is a dayshift role working from 6am-2.30pm, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The hourly rate for this position is $35.82. All other conditions are in accordance with the site Enterprise Agreement.

Reporting to the Team Leader the main duties will include

• Production of a quality product conforming to current quality control standards;
• Pack finished product to specified standards ready for despatch;
• Set up machine according to job specifications;
• Identify and resolve machinal or product issues;

To succeed in this role you will need

• Prior print machine, or similar machine, operation experience is essential;
• Prior experience in the print industry would be highly desirable;
• Demonstrable knowledge of machine maintenance and repair;
• Right to Work in Australia (essential).
