Job summary

Accenture Australia is seeking a skilled Database Developer in Western Sydney to design, develop, and maintain enterprise database solutions supporting business applications, integrations and reporting.

You will optimise SQL queries, lead performance tuning, and collaborate with architects, analysts, developers and testers to deliver scalable database solutions with strong security, backups and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

Experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
Advanced SQL development, including indexing and performance tuning.
Knowledge of data modelling, normalization, and data architecture.
Experience with cloud databases such as Azure SQL, AWS RDS, or Oracle Cloud.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise database solutions for business apps, integrations, and reporting.
Develop and optimise complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, views, and database packages.
Lead database performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning activities.
Support data migration, ETL processes, and system integrations across platforms.
Implement database security, backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.
