Job summary

Lead Group in Melbourne is hiring a Business Services & Tax Manager to deliver taxation, accounting and business advisory services across Australia. The role combines technical tax/accounting work with client advisory, team development and cross-jurisdiction coordination.

You will train and mentor staff, build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to broaden the firm’s services. A flexible working arrangement and structured training support career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong Business Services experience and technical knowledge.
• Sound knowledge of accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Clear communication and proficiency with leading accounting software (APS, MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks).

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT and payroll tax returns.
• Deliver tax planning and business advice using financial and non-financial performance information.
• Build client relationships through responsive service and quality delivery.
• Identify additional client needs and opportunities to introduce the firm’s services.
• Train and mentor team members to develop their technical knowledge.
• Coordinate teams across jurisdictions and collaborate with other specialists.
