Job summary

My Guardian is seeking a compassionate Carer to join our supportive team, providing high-quality, person-centred care that helps individuals live with dignity, comfort and independence.

You will offer companionship, perform light household duties, and assist with errands while maintaining privacy and safeguarding at all times. A Certificate III in Aged or Disability Care and checks are preferred, and sponsorship/permanent opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
• Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
• Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
• Current First Aid Certificate is necessary to complete personal care.
• A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one.
• Current police check, or willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
• Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• Monitor and record changes in clients’ health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.
